"Sick Puppies" Rock the Knitting Factory in Reno w/ Janus &

The "Power Trio" from Australia rolled into reno on Sunday Night, March 15, 2010 to play at The Knit.

Touring heavily on their new album "Tri-polar" which has their hit song "You're Going Down"

Opening for the Sick Puppies were "Janus" and "Abrupt Edge"

Abrupt Edge (myspace.com/abruptedge) opened the show to a really small crowd of around maybe (500) rockers (it was a Sunday night after all) which made for a very intimate show, which is always good. They played around 30 minutes.

Then came Janus (http://janusmusic.com) they played around 45 minutes. They really got the place ready for "The Main Event"

The Sick Puppies opened with "War" and jammed for around 90 minutes, they played 14 songs in all from their 2 albums "Tri-polar" and "Dressed up as Life".

They ROCKED the knit all the way !!!

The Sick Puppies set list is as follows ....

War, Cancer, Survive, My World, Odd One, Riptide, Deliverance, All the Same, Maybe, Should've Known Better , Anywhere But Here, Name, Pitiful and the encore, You're Going Down.

Shimon Moore - Vocals & Guitar, Mark Goodwin - Drums and (the very hot !!!) Emma Anzai on Bass make up the Sick Puppies who formed in 1997 out of Sydney, Australia.

The Sick Puppies will be catching up with "Nickelback" and "Shinedown" in April, check out the tour section on their web-site (http://sickpuppies.net).

After the show all 3 bands signed autographs and took photos with the fans (very cool !!!)
