In 2007, you probably heard the hit single “All The Same” by Australian rockers, Sick Puppies on the radio at least a couple times. If not, then you’ve probably heard it while watching the popular Free Hugs campaign video on YouTube. Either way, they have branched out their success to the states in the past couple years after being a big hit in Australia since their first studio album, Welcome to the Real World, was released in 2001.
The band is comprised of Shimon Moore, Emma Anzai and Mark Goodwin and was formed in 1997. After self releasing their own EP shortly after, they have released two studio albums and are set to release their third titled Tri-Polar on July 14, 2009. They are embarking on a tour this summer in support of the new album and are making a stop at The Rock in Tucson on July 10.
