Wow, Youtube really killed the quality of this video, it's better than it looks.

Anyway, last week on 7/10/11 at the show in Pittsburgh we did something special. Gerry, WC member Julie and I blew up a handful of balloons and dropped them into the crowd from the upper level.

I've been to a lot of shows, but this is one of the coolest things I've seen at one.

Again....sorry about the quality.

Nice. How many balloons did you guys have? On a sad sidenote, I still have yet to see White Balloons live.

I'm not sure on the balloon count, we filled one of the blue merch tubs, and some random cooler that was up there.

Alyse and I did that at a show right after Tri Polar was released, so they didn't have White Balloons on the setlist. I think we started tossing them (from the very front row mind you) back into the crowd during Deliverance, or maybe one of the Tri-Polar songs I can't remember it was about two years ago.

Oh man! This is a really cool idea. Very dramatic, plus initiates polite crowd participation. I wonder...what does the band think of it? --Or let me rephrase, what do Emma and Mark think of it. haha. Shim seemed to voice his opinion already.

That is awesome...Madam Adam did a prank and had a crap ton of white balloons going out to the crowd from the stage...Shim lost his place with the lyric..it was pretty funny....I LOVE YOU did this David lol..it's more fun when people aren't expecting it.

Julie, Renna, Dom and I did this in Jax. It was stunning. Except that it was a free festival so there was a lot of riff raff there who popped the balloons.
