Rules/Guidelines

Do you like photography? Can you take something as simple as a white balloon and turn it into something artsy and creative? Well, we want to see what you can do!

This contest is open to everyone 13 years of age and over.

Take a picture that you feel relates to the Sick Puppies song, White Balloons. It could use the lyrics, simply just have a white balloon in the picture, or anything else you come up with.

There are 2 sections for this contest:

1. An original photo

2. An original photo that has been manipulated by Photoshop or any other computer/digital application

No inappropriate or offensive material is allowed.

Method of Submission
You can submit up to 2 photos per category. Submit photo(s) to spwc.contest.team@gmail.com by April 30, 2013 in one of the following formats: .jpg, .png, .bmp, or .gif. Please make sure that each image is no bigger than 600 x 600 pixels with a file size no larger than 1 MB. In the body of the e-mail, please include your name, date of birth (to assure that you are over 13), and a mailing address so we can ship your prize should you win.

Prize
The Board Administrators and Moderators will narrow down the entries to the top 5 for each category. Once the finalists are selected, we will choose a winner with a Sick Puppies World Crew poll.

1. The prize for the original photo prize will be this signed drum head.



2. The prize for the original photo that has been manipulated by Photoshop or any other computer/digital application will be the bragging rights of having the photo appear as SPWC's Facebook cover for one week.

The winners will be announced on/about/before May 5, 2013. The winner will be notified by e-mail, and will also be announced in this thread and on Sick Puppies Social Network Websites. (IE - Facebook and/or Tumblr, and/or Twitter)

Sick Puppies, their management and World Crew have the rights to all materials to use on websites and publications without any further credit or payment promised.

Hey guys,
Is anyone else having issues with voting in the 'non-computer assisted' category?
I placed my vote for the 'computer assisted' image, and when I go back in to view the images again, it flashes to a white screen with a box that says 'thanks for voting'.
But when I try to vote for the 'non-computer assisted' image, then go back to view the images, the 'thanks for voting' box isn't there. Does that mean my vote for that category isn't registering?
