Finally introducing myself....

I've been listening to SP since the first time I saw the Free Hugs video, when it caught the attention of a news station in Orlando for/whenever ago. I heard their song on NCIS & recognized the voice but couldn't put it with a band for the longest time. I'm actually not sure how many times I've seen them - more than 4 times, but after that.....having traveled with band-friends, I've lost count!

Anyway, I'm a 'watergirl' (the ocean is my best friend) from Brevard County (Florida), but get ensnared in Tampa during the school year: I'm working on a degree in Psychology & Criminology, planning on going into Crisis Response/Stress Management for LEOs (law enforcement).

Don't be afraid: I don't profile people :biggrin:

I have a good connection to the east coast local music scene & am friends with some bands that have obtained some awesome recognition. While I'm not a "practicing musician" - I do have a musician's ear & can play several instruments by ear. BUT: I much prefer music photography. I've had some success with regular freelance photos, but really enjoy doing live gigs & studio sessions.

That's about it, I guess. Nice to virtually meet you all!

Everyone that I've interacted with, even before I remembered to intro myself, has been absolutely awesome. I honestly believe that it's a reflection of the band itself: the pride that Emma, Shim, & Mark have in their work, as well as their concern with the input & happiness of their fans - not to mention the content of their music! Kind of funny to realize that I've been a big fan of a band for so long, without even realizing it! :laugh:
