Just wanted to drop a line to introduce myself. My name is Jen....in case that was not obvious already. I live just outside of Detroit, married for nearly 12yrs and have two boys. Steven is 16 and Roman is 9. I am a Flight Attendant for NWA/Delta Airlines. We are still in the merging process. My husband and I, also, play in a rock/alternative cover band at least twice a month. He is the ry.guitar, and I do back-up vocals and sing some of the "higher pitched" songs....ie; 80's hair band, Motley Crue, Fastway, etc. We are called 13th Floor. We have a myspace page. Feel free to check us out. 13thfloorhardrock.com For a cover band, we do pretty well for ourselves. I keep trying to convince the band to try just ONE Sick Puppies song. My husband tried to play Pitifull one night at home just practicing, but gave up. He says it changes up so much and he's convinced there is someone else playing guitar on the CD. I think, he doesn't want to play it because he knows I want to sing it. LOL!! 
I know for sure, our lead vocalist could not pull it off. 
I know, how selfish of me. I became very interested in this band the first time I heard "All the Same". I'm sure that's how alot of you all came to be fans. One night I was trying to download that song from Napster on her laptop. I hate Napster. Somehow, I ended up downloading clips from each song. For not being able to hear the whole song, it still grabbed my attention. Later that night, I went to Lime Wire on my own PC and downloaded every song I could find. I got most of them. Some of them wouldn't download. Cancer, Anywhere but Here, The Bottom, and one more I can't remember which one.....it was quite awhile ago. That's all it took. I had to have it all! It's the most played CD on my MP3 player. I try to utilize the Fitness rooms in the hotels we stay at to get in workouts I can't when I'm at home. 90% of the time, we get in late and I'm ususally the only one in there between 8 and 10pm. So, I just turn it all the way up and sing out loud for the whole hotel to hear!! 
Finally, I just decided to check out the site and low and behold you all have a message board. I couldn't resist to sign up. I probably won't be on alot. My career doesn't give much time to have a life outside of the work force. When I'm not working, I'm being the best wife and mom I know how to be. But, I will check in from time to time to see how it's all going. Glad to be here.

And for apologizing in advance for not posting much, you've posted more than some people who have been signed up for MONTHS so kudos to you!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get that transfer hehe I don't think I could ever live anywhere but Cali...
