Hello everyone! Well, I didn't think I'd end up here, but my close friend Shamrock finally infected me with a serious case of appreciation for what SP is all about and I couldn't help but join in! A little about me... I'm an engineer (computer/electrical/audio/some mechanical), singer-songwriter and guitarist. I've been writing and playing music for about 15 years, first in school bands and then the past 8-9 mostly focused on guitar. I had a thrash/melodeath metal band a few years ago; we gigged heavily around the Dallas/Ft. Worth/Tyler/Longview area of East Texas for about a year and had a lot of success before unfortunate circumstance tore us apart, so I'm intimately familiar with the way scenes work and how talented musicians have to struggle and compete for any success and recognition

That's part of the reason why I respect what Sick Puppies and the World Crew you guys built are doing! The success is incredible and it's the mix of raw talent on their part plus the hard work on your parts that makes it happen, and I'm a big fan of both
