hey all,
can't say that i am the greatest sick puppies fan ever. if anything i've been listening to their music for all of 3 weeks but loving every moment of it.
now that the semantics are taken care of onto the pleasantries:
my name's Matthew, Matt for short. currently 22 years old, live in montreal, qc, canada. hockey and soccer fan. my main background for music was rap and hip hop up until really recently. let's face it...if soldier boy and lil wayne is the "best" hip hop can offer since Tupac and Eminem...i want no part of it. what got me more into rock music though was the foo fighters and i'm definitely a fan of theirs. recently picked up the most recent Offspring and Linkin Park albums and then came into contact with Sick Puppies. i'm a wrestling fan so i heard "You're Going Down" at the PPV and it caught my attention. headed over to the music store where my girlfriend works and picked up the Sick Puppies CD that was there expecting to find "You're Going Down". little did i know i had DUAL in my hands and suffice to say that about an hour later, since i couldn't skip any song on the damn CD, i bought DUAL and have been listening to it up until the release of Tri-polar. now i'm alternating both in my car and can't seem to put either of them down. starting a mini movement here in montreal as we sold out at most music stores for the ordered copies. a buddy of mine had a hard time finding tri-polar so i'm guessing people here are liking what they are hearing.
