Hello from New Mexico!

Hey everybody! My name is Christopher. I live in the state of New Mexico. I am in a band called Falling Horizon. I play the bass as well as sing. In December 2009, I found out about "Sick Puppies". I was looking for a Breaking Benjamin tour date near New Mexico. The closest was in Lubbock, Texas. The date of the show was 12/2/09. i asked my mom if she could take me and a couple friends out to see the concert, which was about 450-500 miles away from where I live in Mora, NM. She said "yes" so I got really excited. This tour was with Breaking Benjamin headlining, and three other bands that I had NO clue who any of them were, so I started to look up these other bands which were Sick Puppies, Rev Theory, and Adelitas Way. The first one I looked up was Sick Puppies. The first song I found was a song we all know as "You're Going Down". When I heard this song, I absolutely HAD to look for more songs by Sick Puppies. I kept looking and found "My World", which drew me in further into looking for more and more songs. So, I looked for more, I liked every single song I found! I was thinking "This band is awesome! I'm gonna love this concert!". I am REALLY picky with the music I listen to, and Sick Puppies were definitely on the 5 star list. After listening to the songs, I had to buy them! I bought the CDs right away, and listened to them all the time til the concert because I HAD to get the lyrics down so i could enjoy the concert even more!! So, it came time for the concert, and me and my friends were excited for both Breaking Benjamin and Sick Puppies. So, we got to the concert early, and we froze our butts off, just so we could get up close (I cant settle for being not close to the stage). The concert started, and Adelitas way came on stage, and rocked it up! Then, Rev Theory rocked it up! Then, the electrifying pulses of "War" started to play, bringing Sick Puppies up to the stage! I went crazy! Shim was very interactive with the crowd, which I LOVE, the bands need to be interactive. It is an A+! Sick Puppies blew us all away by their amazing playing and great music. In my opinion, their performance was even with, or maybe a bit better than Breaking Benjamin's. I love both the bands! and Sick Puppies will definitely be on the top of my favorite bands list! Can't wait to see you guys in March!
