Hello to all of you here at the World Crew forums! I'm glad to have finally found a place with folks who love Sick Puppies as much as I do. This band is beyond amazing from the shows I've been too.
Their energy, their love for their fans, their outlook on things is very admirable. We need more bands like SP around!
The first time I saw them was when they were on tour with Breaking Benjamin in '07. I'd never heard of them before, but once they took the stage and played their set, I was hooked for life. They've grown to become my favorite band since then.
Their music is easy to relate to, and these guys are great people in general! I can remember back in August of '09 when I got to hang out with them a bit after they did an acoustic set at a T-Mobile, before performing later that night. One of their road-crew members had his family there with him, and Shim actually played with his son and his toy truck after the acoustic set was done.
That was pretty cool, to know that this band's members are down-to-earth and don't think they're above other people.
I suppose I've rambled enough for now, I look forward to interacting with all of you here and helping SP achieve world domination!
