Heyy! My name is Jacinda. I'm 15, and I just joined this site a week ago. I thought I'd share a little bit of why I'm here (though I'm sure it's similar to everyone elses' story). I went to my first (real) concert on my last day of my Freshmen year. The line-up included Bad City, Sick Puppies, Hinder, "The band that shall not be named", and a local band called Mindset Evolution. Of all the bands, Sick Puppies was BY FAR my favorite. Sick Puppies truly connected with their audience, and wanted EVERYONE to feel the amazing chemistry in the room (well, I wouldn't call it a room... More like an outside roof over dirt.. If that makes any sense haha). I already loved their songs, and felt like their words actually had meaning to me. After such a wonderful show, I wanted to learn more about Sick Puppies. I found the "Free Hugs" video and this website, and was truly inspired by what Sick Puppies stood for and believed in. To me, Sick Puppies do not seem to be one of those bands that are just in it for the mulah. They don't just string a bunch of nice words together to make a song. They believe in what they sing, and they truly care about their fans. I personally think it's beautiful. Sick Puppies ABSOLUTELY deserved to win that poll of who better connects with their audience. In just one performance, I saw their dedication to us, the fans.

Also, I hope Hinder didn't do anything to Sick Puppies (or "The band that shall not be named"...) backstage. Hinder has a history of random crap backstage. Like pooping in other people's boots , or...well nevermind.
