My name is Alyssa and I live in lame sauce land (Oconomowoc) WI. I first saw Sick Puppies last year when I went to the 30 Seconds to Mars concert at The Rave. I was taken aback at how awesome they sounded live. Idk about anyone else, but some bands I've gone too have really disappointed me live
. Just about a week or so ago I saw them at Summerfest. I am officially obsessed now XD. Not just with their sound, but with the band members as well. It's weird to say, but I have a crush on all of them in different ways!Shimon - When I first got a good look at him I realized how tall he was I just about died. Idk if anyone else has this problem, but I'm taller than a good deal of guys.....it's kinda lame. So, seeing someone who is so attractive AND who is taller than me just about made me die. I walked into line determined to ask for a hug, but promptly turned bright red when i got up there, muttered "hi", and acted like a retard when I asked for a picture
. Not to mention that he seemed ridiculously down-to-earth and he has a godly voice :3Emma - I feel weird saying, but there's a girl crush here (not in that way sillies!). I'm not going to be stupid and say that Emma isn't attractive, because we all know (yes even the girls) that she is. She is the kinda person that a lot of us strive to be like. Emma is a very very talented musician, i feel that she isn't up their shitting around, but actually trying to play music! Not to mention that she isn't one of those stupid pop queens who run around with their privates hanging out.
Mark - He is my drummer crush. I don't know what i'd give to take private lessons with him, but if it were possible i'd find a way! He seems to have this impossible ease of playing that is hard to find. As I watched him play I felt like there wasn't any aggression, but a deep love for the instrument. I've watched countless drummers beat up their set trying to achieve a certain sound. I try not to, but sometimes it's just inevitable. Again, Mark is one of the drummers I would love to have a lesson with, even just once!
The Band - I seriously love you guys. I love the way you all play as a band, and not just single instruments. I could see you all interacting on stage and feeding off each other so that it didn't start sounding like a music fight, but something beautiful!
A tiny bit about me :3. I'm really tall XD I'm a percussionist and a pianist. I'm going to Colorado State University in the fall and am majoring in Biomedical Science with a Pre-Vet interest. I love metal, alternative, indie, rock and all that fun stuff :3 I'm kinda (really) nerdy/dorky/awkward but I'm told I'm fun to be around :3 Well, there ya go :3 my intro!
