Dear Agony was actually the first album Ben has made fully sober

Making records sober is overrated  Anybody going to see them tour early next year and what are your opinions on each of their albums?

Saturate - Great
We Are Not Alone - Great
Phobia - Great
Dear Agony - Great

lol honestly all the albums are amazing and just a tad different than the one before. Asking me to pick one is like asking me to pick one of my children (that I don't have yet)

If I were to place them in order of favorites...
Saturate-2
We Are Not Alone-4
Phobia-1
Dear Agony-3

Phobia is a piece of musical genius, no other way around it. Saturate was incredible... not what they evolved into later, but is an incredible piece of work. I rated Dear Agony 3rd because I was expecting them to take a genre and put their own twist on it, like they have for all their other cds... but they really didn't. Not that it was bad, I love the cd, just not what I was hoping for. We Are Not Alone isn't bad, in fact So Cold, Firefly, and Sooner Or Later are some of my favorite songs by them; but I think that in comparison to their other stuff, it didn't quite measure up. No matter what, all their cds are great.

My theory is as such....70 year-olds of today swing dance at weddings, so at 70 we'll be moshing and head banging in walkers to Rage.

I meant how did you know he was sober when he did the new album?

Yeah I'm with you on that. I think that's what I liked about Saturate, it was really raw and had a great original sound; and yes, WANA wasn't really that solid of an album as a whole... but it did have great singles. I like it better when the album as a whole is good though, so that's why I rated it lower...

I don't know if I could honestly pick one album over any of the others... It would depend on the day and my mood. I love each one for different reasons and I couldn't chose... :noclue:
I love them and I am dying to see them again this year but they STILL haven't added any Cali dates to their tour yet.... WTF!
So as soon as they decide to get their asses over here to the west coast, I will happily go see them again!
I had to fly to texas last year to see them and SP together.... It was sooooo worth the money and the flying! And I would do it again in a heartbeat... 2 of the best shows I have ever been too!!!

I did my best to try and be a mirror of soceity but we both know the mirror's cracked and everybody's in the act...

Rain is one of my favorite BB songs, I wish they had done it live at the last shows I went to.

That happened to me at Projekt Revolution (linkin park). I was up on the rail and I started getting pushed into it, the rail was chest high so it was pushing right into my lungs, usually not that bad but I was getting pushed HARD into it and couldn't breathe and couldn't move. I blacked out and next thing I know I"m standing over beside the pit, there's 2 security holding me up and the 3rd is shining a light in my face making sure I'm alive lol. Sucks to cause I had to go to the back of the pit and push my way back up to the front again, AND i missed part of a song :(
