I use to write poems a lot more then I do now. I liked using them as a method to express my feelings. I haven't written in awhile but here is one of the more recent ones I did. Almost every poem I have written, was written for a "specific" reason. I don't tend to have moments where I go "Hey that sounds good let me write that down." It seems to be more like something happens and I reflect on it.

This poem was written for a friend, his baby girl was born and sadly lost her life unexpectedly 14 hours later.

your friend must appreciate that so much, its so thoughtful.

Those poems are really good and very emotional. Is the second poem something you had went through? I wonder because it sounds a lot like how my dad use to be before my mom left him.
