Her gardens are nourished by the tears from her cheek.
Hidden from all shes never allowed it to be seen
The walls are built high, so the sun doesn’t shine,
doesn’t feel worthy to be warmed by its light.
Confined as a seed, waiting to flower
Voices from the past, never giving her water
• So she lets go and flies
got to fly higher

on your knees is half of what you could be
half as much as you would be
half a man always makes you kneel
never lets you feel unless to feed from his hand
So now you fly
just to get a little higher
Does it make you wiser
Did it turn this life around
And you fly, just to get higher
