Life is about relationships -
Inspired me to return that one crucial call
that led to us to spend a beautiful late spring day
holding hands to the breath-taking view
of our capital city.
Where we fell in love.
It's like Plato said -
At the touch of love
everyone becomes a poet.
Everybody loves
so there's good in everyone.
It's our love that holds the world together.
But in order to love
we have to trust
and it's hard to trust what we don't recognize.
Different is beautiful and fragile.
It's the fresh taste of the unexpected -
The reason to let go of reassuring comfort.
"I don't feel like it."
"I don't believe in this."
"I'm scared to."
"No."
So we choose whom to trust
and having not been chosen
this world may seem cold - seem.
But let's not buy that.
You see us -
We're different
but our love's the same.
