Here are some things I've written... kinda dark and depressing..

my black sunday

Lost in the darkness blinded by deception
Echoes of familiar voices from my not so distant past
Grieving for my life
Why did I hold on to this dream?

All alone in my solitude
cold dark listless
How could she not realize
how those words could have hurt me?

Lost in the haze of reality
between truth and fiction is where my heart lies
bleeding for the friends I once knew
longing to be whole once again.

Searching for my Lenore
my light to lead the way
save me from this nightmare
that's become myself.


(This is one I just started to write while at work... obviously not finished, but would like feedback if possible..)

Looking at my reflection
Afraid of what I see
Imperfections, flaws are noticed
How do you see me?

Trapped by my own vices
Isolated by my fear
Tears are shed but no one hears them
Just to hold you near

Wish I could see the light
So tired of all the pain
Drowning underneath it all
Lost all faith in what I believe

another short one.... I wrote this when I found out that my coworker's husband was killed in a motorcycle accident... she had said a few days ago that she wishes she had time to spend with him, but she works all the time.
