This is my favorite song that I've written. Its for my friend R.I.P. The part in parenthesis is the chorus. (our lead singer is a guy so its from his point of view.)
Your smile lit up my world
it hid the scars of your life.
That way your hair was twirled,
your hand in mine.
I wish that my words weren't like a knife
sharp and deadly. What if I had said something different?
I wish it had only been a fad.
Why couldn't it have been my life on the line?
