So I was looking for Green Day Merch, and I stumbled across this girl selling stuff. After
some messaging, I found out something that schocked me.
This girl is suffering from Cancer, so she sells her beloved Green Day stuff that she hold dear. She can't afford her medications, and she can't even walk properly. I felt so bad for her, so I contacted some people, trying to do that we can to help her. None of us have the money to help her.
We really think her story needs to be told, because she really needs help. Without money for her medications she might die. So what we're trying to do, is to contact Green Days fanbase, to seek help.
If any of you likes Green Day, please buy merch from her. She despreately needs money. After a while it sunk in, and I was like like: Wow... this girl is just like me... She loves a band so much. And now she has to give up on her merch to fight for her life?
I just couldn't resist not sharing this. Please, checkit out at least. We're all fans of something. We should stand together for her, because this could've been ourselves.

I sent a tweet to Billie Joe Armstrong (@BJAofficial) and Green Day (@GreenDay) official with a link to the album. Hopefully if enough people tweet them they will notice and do something for her.

This is the post from Sandy
Hi everyone,
I’m not feeling very comfortable typing this but given the situation I’m in and after talking to my friends and knowing I have their support I think this is actually one of the last options I have left.
I suffer from various sicknesses, physically and mentally.
I have cancer. There’s a tumour in my left bone above my knee which is causing a lot of pain. I would also need an operation on my right ankle due to an old accident and a broken ankle which didn’t heal correctly and now I’m not only in pain, but it’s also making Walking very hard for me. Without a bandage I couldn’t walk at all. The operation was refused by a couple of specialists because it’s too risky.
Since I’m a teenager I also suffer from depressions and was diagnosed with “borderline”. A trauma and many phobias make my life harder as well. I have panic attacks almost daily.
The treatments, therapies, hospitalisations, medications and bills are over 700€ and given that I’m not allowed to work and don’t get any money in support (in Germany your parents have to pay for their children until they’re 25, I’m not 25) I have no idea how to afford any of this. I’m off therapy and medications, at home being in so much pain I can hardly take it.
It was not my plan to ask for donations! I’ve been selling clothes and other stuff, such as my beloved Green Day collection, but that isn’t going too well. So I’m here now and asking for donations from people I’ve never met in person. I’m ashamed I have to do that. It’s not something I do easily. But I feel like I really have no other choice since while I’m off therapies and medications all of my sicknesses get worse and that tumour is growing and growing, causing more and more damage to my health.
So, if anyone out there can donate anything I’d really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart! Also, if anyone would like to see what I offer I’ll be giving out links. Please contact me either via Facebook or e-mail (sandyatmda@hotmail.com).
Thank you for reading. Sandy xoox

Re: Hi! This Green Day girl needs your help!
Hey guys,
Anyone who saw my thread about the Christmas toys I donate (My mission to help) knows that I try to use my crochet skills to help where I can. I never charge for what I make, but I think everyone would agree that this is an exception. Here's my thought: I have a pattern to crochet awareness ribbons. I was thinking I would crochet them in either lavender (the color for cancer awareness) or yellow (the color for bone cancer awareness) and make them pins. Any money I get would go directly to Sandy. I'm not sure about cost, maybe between $2 and $5. Please let me know if there would be an interest in something like this.

I tried to be someone else, but nothing seemed to change. I know now this is who I really am inside.
