I may be stuck being a pirate again because I don't have the money to buy a new costume unfortunately.

Re: Halloween... who will you be?!
I bought my costume yesterday. Saw it at Wal Mart and fell in love with it. It's called a Gothic Mistress and it looks like a wedding dress type of thing, but I took off the veil and added black raven wings.

Re: Halloween... who will you be?!
So my friends have decided that the 3 of us are going to go as a theme. They picked Alice in Wonderland since it would be the easiest. So according to them, my options are the Cheshire Cat or the Mad Hatter (cuz they know I won't wear an outfit with a skirt...haha) I have to look at the costumes, but I'm thinking Mad Hatter...

Re: Halloween... who will you be?!
I wouldn't really have anything to make one out of. There's one I really want to be that they have at Wal-Mart but I don't have the money to buy it

Re: Halloween... who will you be?!
I went through Hobby Lobby yesterday and picked up the last bit for my costume (some chain and clips to hang my sword from). I actually decided to do a whole different thing from last year, including a new mask. I've pulled some pieces of clothing that I already own for the costume bit...not like I don't have my fair share of weird, black clothes anyway.
But there's a lot you can do for a costume with stuff you already have. Dad usually does some jeans/boots/nasty-old-flannel-shirt combo, so he just has to do the mask and props. My costume is based on layering a long sleeved shirt, vest thing, shorts, tights and boots...again, it's the mask and props that make it a costume. And if you're willing to sacrifice a t-shirt or two, maybe with a splash of kool-aid here and there and some makeup... I'm not much for packaged costumes anymore.
Oh, and if you think a guy dressed up as a Playboy bunny is bad, you should have seen the guy who showed up last year dressed as Dr. Frank-N-Furter from Rocky Horror. I was impressed.
(OMG only twelve days left!!)

Dave and I are thinking about going as "Walk and Don't Walk" signs.
It's gonna be easy and comfortable for the show in San Bernadino.

Re: Halloween... who will you be?!
Near where I live we are actually having a "zombie walk." You can be a zombie or a zombie hunter ,so I guess I'm going to be a zombie. It should be a fairly easy costume, just rip up some clothes and smear fake blood and make up all over.
...and if I knew all the answers I would scream them out to the world, but I don't, I'm just as lost as the rest of you.
Careful the handprint you leave on the lives you touch.
