I have SO many plans for tattoos but I need to start making more money!!

I have three already, though. I got my first one back in '09, it's a tribute to Wicked (the musical and book). That one's on my right shoulderblade.

My second one (late '10) is just a simple pattern of pink & green stars going up around my ankle. No special meaning, I just really liked it.

And then I got another one a few months ago, my most expensive... I got two lines of lyrics on each hip, lines from "All Shall Fade" from Lord of the Rings (the song Pippin sings in Return of the King), and I used the Hobbiton font. I love the sh*t out of that one, I even got a monokini bathing suit so I could specifically highlight their placement.

People always told me that I would regret getting a tattoo. Guess what? 10 years and 5 tattoos later, still no regrets! I have a rose witha paire of pointe shoes (I took ballet lessons for 16 years) and 2 butterflies on my right hip, a ribbon with flowers around my belly button and sunflowers around my left ankle. I thik I might go the day after my (I hate to even type it) 40th birhtday in February to get my next tattoo-a dragon playing the guitar for my 17 year old son. Just think about a few things before you get jone: Do you have the extra money? What do you want? (Don't get something trendy-you may regret it) What do you want to do for a living? (Some careers and bosses may not appreciate your "art")

If I can finally figure out how to post a picture or how I can save it as my avatar or even put it as my signature (I swear I'm usually good at this stuff! Haha) I'll post a picture of my first tattoo that I just got at the beginning of July. It's the Jimi Hendrix quote "Music is my religion" and it has the guitar from the Rock Fest (the one in Cadott, WI) logo with it. I just finally decided what/where I'm getting my next tattoo. Gonna get the chorus from the new Devour the Day song Faith on my side:

I am currently planning to travel to Spain in February to get one done, it is a artist i have admired for ages and finally taken the jump to book in with him.

I dont know the design exacly as he is doing one for me specifically, but it weill be a similar design to the one on his main page the gypsy one. I like the women/rose type style.
