Catching up on the internet. It's been a long day moving and now we're crashed on the mattresses in the loft, waiting for pizza, and trying to unwind. We suspect there will be more painting later.

Well. It is 103 degrees outside. I made Salsa for Tostadas tonight. I just got done watering my garden (what is left of it anyways) and now relaxing for a few minutes before putting laundry away. I love Thursday nights. It's family night. If only for once time flew its ass by and it was already 6PM Because Chicken Mole and Pork Tostadas here we come.

Seriously ...

I am emerging from a coma of emotional intensity over the past week.

Not only is my role in the group I am an activist totally upped right now (yay bisexual awareness month) but it's also the anniversary of my partner having a massive cardiac arrest that almost killed her.

She's totally fine. And life has moved on. But sometimes, the emotions just roll over you.

So right now?

I'm processing. And sitting in our bedroom - I should be writing - letting it all just be. She's downstairs doing stuff. And life is healthy and good.

I'm watching season 6 of Walking Dead! I saw the first half before Milford got rid of AMC, so YAY catch-up time!!!

AND I'm looking on Pinterest for ideas for small spaces because I found a really cool apartment to rent in Sioux Falls!

And a job.

Jobs are good.

I'm waiting for dinner to be done. I have some chicken baking right now. It will be tasty but my impatient side wants it done right now. The other side of me wants massive amounts of alcohol. I need to figure out how to not sweat the small stuff as they say. I can't help it. No matter how hard I try stuff still bugs me. This on top of a potentially bad phone call this morning just makes me want to be done with this day. Potentially bad as in important, scary, and seriously life changing decisions will need to be made and I'm not prepared.

So after dinner...movie? Or just be done with the day?

My sibling's home caught on fire last night and they need some help so I'm hitting up all of my social media feeds.

Everyone got out okay, but they're going to be in a motel for the next couple of weeks while things are cleaned up. They have a large family and are trying to stay together, which means more money than they have currently.
