I finished the Circle of Gold by Guillaume Prévost (book of time 3) and have started Vacations from Hell. Five short stories by Cassandra Clare, Libba Bray, Claudia Grey, Maureen Johnson and Sarah Mlynowski. It is really good so far. =)

I'm on the last book, Last Watch, of the Night Watch series. Sergei Lukyanenko was born in Kazakhstan and incorporates a Russian lifestyle into his stories (they take place in Moscow). It's refreshing to read an author from a different country, it adds a whole other perspective to a story. If you like modern scifi/fantasy (with magicians, vampires, werewolves, alternate worlds, etc) and an author who incorporates alcohol and lyrics into his stories, then these books are good for you. At least read the first few pages of the first book, Night Watch! Apparently it was turned into a movie as well, but I haven't seen it.
Here is a link:

Also, The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss is an amazing book. I read it twice within 6 months. It's subtle fantasy, but written very well. You won't be able to put it down! I've turned at least 3 friends onto it and they all have loved it. The only unfortunate thing is that the second book of the series doesn't come out until this summer...

^ I always wanted to read the Night Watch books but haven't bought them. Dunno why...
And I own The name of the wind, but never started that one... oO But I really should read it sometime soon!

Now I'm reading Angelology by Danielle Trussoni. But just started reading...

recently resumed reading and finished up A Stroke of Midnight. so I've read so far the first 5 Merry Gentry books in that particular series and own the first four and 6 and 7. now reading a Lick of Frost book 7 of Merry Gentry.and I like Merry Gentry and the Anita Blake Series I prefer Anita over Merry but Merry is a cool series after getting into it a while back.

I want to read the Last Song- I love Nicholas Sparks books- but they always end with something sad so it is preventing me from reading it. Though from everyone else I know that read it heard it was a great book.

Me: I like one song.
Shim: Which one?
Me: Bulls on Parade.

I finished Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury a few weeks ago...talk about a creepy carnival book!

Now I'm reading the Amber Chronicles by Roger Zelazny...pretty interesting so far (the edition I have is 10 books in one, over 1200 pages...needless to say, it's work lugging it around!).

I own almost all of Nicholas Spark's books but I hadn't ever read any because I have been working full time and going to school full time for so long but I just finished reading The Notebook. I've seen the movie before and obviously there are some differences but the outcome of feelings out of me was the same. Never ending crying!! lol.

I think I'm going to read A Walk to Remember next.
