Gas Prices

I paid $3.99 yesterday and a whole $20 got me 5 gallons. Woopty freakin doo. The gas stations by the highways are up to $4.09 I think. *starts singing* Giddy up my 409, 409...

I'm seriously considering riding my bicycle back and forth to work. By the way, whoever mentioned the BUI thing, that is the funniest thing I've heard. I never thought that could happen.

i've never gotten a ticket for BUI but i have for making an illegal left turn! that's what i get for stopping to let people cross first. gave the cop a chance to catch me.

Hmmm.. right now in good ole Northeastern Pennsylvania it is between $3.75-$3.79 a gallon most places. I went to an outlet mall near me on Friday up in Central Valley, NY (about an hour or so outside NYC) and gas was $4.16 a gallon.

I wish I could ride a bike to work, but unfort I live too far away from where I work so that wouldn't even be possible if I wanted to.

I'm going to be able to drive in....7 months.
And it depressed me that I'll have to pay out the a** just to do it.

Its like $4 something here.

I sound sooo old when I start saying things like "I remember when gas was $0.96 a gallon." But it's true.. I really do remember when it was that cheap- I was a freshman in high school back in 1998.

gas drop down to $3.82 the other day then jumped to $3.99 today

i got tricked today it said $3.95 so i gave them 30 bucks when i went to pump the gas it said 4.15 i didn't notice $3.95 with purchase of car wash

I payed 3.89 up the street from my house. It costs me 45.00 and it didn't quite fill my tank. I have a newer car, an '07 Chevy HHR and all of a sudden the past few months it's been doing horrid on gas, like my old Mustang did. I'm wondering if they're watering down the gas because everyone I know is getting worse gas mileage lately.
By the way, expect everywhere for gas prices to go up the next day. They always jack the prices up a bit for holiday weekends because they expect more people will be going out and doing things. Crappy thing is, they don't bring the prices back down because they know people have no choice but to pay

The news said something about 317,000 people will NOT be traveling this holiday weekend due to high gas prices. There hasn't been a drop like that since 1998. I believe this is only for CT.

I read there was an actual drop in people driving nationwide too though, I forgot the actual stats though =[

.....I know I'm not driving at all this long weekend lol. I'm just going to my dentist appointment in a bit then probably staying home and relaxing alone =P

(not like I have any friends to hang out with anyway, haha)
