Where would you normally turn too.
I myself never go to my parents, sometimes I go to my sister, but it's mostly my friends and even my Girlfriend. so, tell me oh world crew, where do you normally get advice from!

Yea, it really depends on what the advice is for. I'm close to my family, but I usually wouldn't go to them. I'd normally ask some friends I have online that I'm close to.

Yea, I never had a good relationship with my Parents, so I really consider my friends my family.

definitely friends...my mom and I never see eye to eye on most things , although like most moms she loves giving advice even if I didn't ask!

I agree with Vertigo and Kari. It really depends on what's happening before I turn to anyone.
But I usually just ask my best friend that's been with me ever since the third grade. We've kind of figured each other out, so we don't really worry about being "judged" and such.

I usually talk to my partner or my friends. I am VERY picky, though. It's situational depending on if I want blunt advice, comfort or just someone to hear me out.

It really is dependent on the Situation, neh?
If I need the blunt truth, I got to my best friend, if I need asoft blow I got to my Really good friends.

@Alice, It is a shame. Its really hard to find Trusted friends these days, I've come to realize.

I usually keep problems to myself, but on occasion I'll tell my Mom.

I envy you, sometimes I wish I had a connection with at least one of my parents, but eh, I have my friends, My sister and My girlfriend. Thats all I need to survive on Emotional standards.

I am usually the one that people go TO for advice lol I really don't ask for advice, and when I do it's usually my mom. Occasionally friends, but hardly ever. And believe it or not, I go to my boss for advice when it comes to work stuff

I usually don't ask for advise, I just go to my psychiatrist and ask him to up those happy pills.
