Has anyone else heard of Youtube taking down videos because of copyright problems. Apparently you cant post anytype of video with a song that is not yours in it.
That girl explains what happened to her.
Now, i dont know everyything that is going on, maybe someone else does?

Warner has REALLY been cracking down on using songs from their artists.

Yup, some are more strict than others. I really think it's illogical to do when it involves music (I mean, what better way to get your artists' music out there, right?)
I know Viacom is extremely at taking down their stuff. So it makes it much more hilarious whenever South Park mentions "watched on youtube" since they're owned by Viacom =x

Theyve been taking music videos done like mad lately which kind of sucks.
Like it took me about 30 minutes to find Sidewinder by Avenged Sevenfold on Youtube because Warner took so many videos of that song down.

Wow thats dumb. My vid might be taken down because it has an Avenged Sevenfold song on it, which i admit, i put in without "proper premission" but still, i hope they dont take it down.........

Yea, it doesn't make sense to me either. I have actually lately stumbled upon A LOT of official music videos that have been taken down because of Warner... Not sure what's gonna happen but it doesn't look good for YouTube if none of these videos can stay up...

They just figured they lost the MP3 fight, so they are moving on to pick on something else.

I think it's stupid, but people can download those videos, so that is kinda like stealing it.
It still sucks a lot though, a lot of videos That I used to watch a lot are no longer there...

they should worry more about things like limewire, I get so pissed off reading things on videos using WAR as a song and people are telling each other where to get it for free b/c they don't want to spend 1 f*cking dollar! I mark those as spam =D

Yeah, they took down a video of mine for having a Paramore song in it. I had to replace it with a song from a list on the site. It's pretty bad that they take stuff like that down bu8t they leave up things like the recent ChristianU2uber's account when the kid is to young for the site and is getting attacked everyday.

What bugs me more than that are the annotations that some users abuse. I want to see the video, not their thoughts and musings on the video. When I'm watching Veggie Tales or some Sesame Street classics and one of those pop up, I just want to kill a bitch.
