Linkin Park and others release unreleased material for Haiti relief

With the recent events in Haiti, musicians across the world have banded together to try and help with the massive debt that was incurred by this tragic disaster. There have been benefit concerts across the country and seemingly dozens of text-message-driven relief funds.

And now, the members of Linkin Park have assembled an all star line-up to help drum up money for the cause. The idea they had was simple: Release one new song from the band (an industrial-tinged ballad called "Not Alone") while also pulling together a collection unreleased material from artists such as The All-American Rejects, Slash, Alanis Morissette and the Dave Matthews Band.

They then created a widget that allows fans to download the songs for free. But you can also obtain the songs for the cost of a donation that goes directly towards relief for the victims in Hati.

Once you choose to download the songs, you will recieve a message about how you can donate. In these dire times, we encourage you to do what you can. We also tip our hats to the men of Linkin Park: This is a solid idea and certainly one worth a few dollars out of your bank account.
