From Monday until 6pm on Friday WCYY will be holding the 3rd annual Mark-a-Thon. The Mark-a-Thon is done by DJ Mark Curdo and he will be raising money for the Center for Grieving Children which is a non-profit organization located in Portland, ME. For more information about them visit:
From now until Friday evening you can request any song you would like to hear for a small donation. It doesn't have to be alternative rock either. You can request ANYTHING from artist such as Seal, Backstreet Boys, ANYTHING. It doesn't even have to be a serious song either. You call request all those weird and interesting Dr. Demento songs too. The only requirement that Mark has for the event is that the songs do not have swears in them!! It would be awesome if the World Crew could come together and possibly help out with this!!
