I went to Uproar on Saturday! It was really great!
Adelitas Way is one of my very favorite bands, and I also love Shinedown! AW got bumped to the 2nd stage due to a weather problem (not exactly sure what, cause it didn't rain but there was a huge mud puddle from earlier by the main stage so that might've been it), but they were awesome as always! Shinedown rocked too, I've seen them several times and this was probably the best one I've been to.

How did papa roach do? I was supposed to be there today (I have a friend who is close with Jacoby Shaddix) and she told me they have to bail out on the rest of the tour because he needs to get vocal surgery... And I watched the video, he didnt sound as awesome as he usually does and he threw it out to the crowd a ton.

When he talked to the crowd, you could really hear how he didn't sound so good. But when he sang he really tried. I think everyone could tell and really appreciated him for it. It's too bad that it was that bad

I went to the opening Uproar date in Kansas City and it was awesome. Papa Roach did a good job, I wasn't aware he was having vocal issues. They played I think 3 new songs, I like them. P Roach, Staind, and Godsmack are all in my top ten. Shinedown is locked in at third favorite band (Pretty good considering he lost out to SP and Foo Fighters) so I was so stoked when I heard this lineup.
I had a blast!!!

I really thought there must have been something wrong with Jacoby! When he was singing he sounded awesome as ever, but when he talked onstage he sounded really hoarse to me. He barely said a word during the meet & greet which seemed unusual for him. Guess he was resting his voice. Love their new songs!
David, I think Shinedown moved to 3rd place on my list of fav bands too! Behind the Pups & AW.

I'm going just outside Boise in a week and a half. Can't wait to see Shinedown again, plus Adelita's Way, Hell Yeah and Godsmack. I got a concussion in the pit when I saw Godsmack last year at Mayhem.
