Who's excited for Halloween?! I'm doing a zombie thing this year (You're never too old for trick-or-treating, right?
) Does anybody have fun plans?

I went to a fun costume party on Saturday, I dressed up as a Garden Gnome, because I am obsessed with them

^That is just perfect. David, you make a great gnome.
Me?
So much work to do, only one week left!
I'm just not feelin' it this year for some reason. Halloween is the only holiday I care anything about - our family is like the people who go insane for Xmas with the super decorated yard and the little ceramic light-up houses, only about Halloween. We do a big set-up only on Halloween night, but it takes lots of work beforehand. We've been doing this for at least 10 years, because at the time nobody in town was doing much. I have flaming pumpkins, fireworks, and lasers. Need more minions; I'm a little short on creepy people this year.
I wonder how it's gonna go this year, since Halloween is on a Wednesday?

^^Nice, Chandra!
I've been madly trying to scrape my stuff back together. There's always issues with storing the animated stuff, and then re-building the walkway and adding support to the fortune teller booth (aka decorated refrigerator box). Fence and lights and hanging things and extension cords everywhere. Now I've gotta finish the walkway and . And set up the lasers. Mmm, lasers.

^^no cornflakes, although that is a cool trick, it's a putty-like stuff we make out of cornstarch, water, and cocoa.
Man, you guys do all kinds of stuff for Halloween! For whatever reason, most people in this town just don't participate very much.
Also, about the storm, I'll just say that I'm really really sorry to everybody affected.

I can't believe it's over! (Nov. 1 is always like depression day, or Halloween Hangover, for me.) I'll try to post some pictures later, when I don't feel like overcooked spaghetti.
