Last week I was telling a friend about Sick Puppies.
His response this week was....
He was listening to the Popmaster quiz that Radio 2 does, last Thursday, and the first question that stumped him was "the current song Maybe is recorded by which Australian group?" and Zoe Ball also commented that it had been played quite a lot recently. His immediate thought was "the only recent Australian band I can think of is the band that Donna keeps going on about, namely the Sick Puppies, but that can't be right". But it was! He was pretty annoyed at himself and ended up losing interest in the quiz due to dismissing the thought.
So great exposure for the band and it seems I am doing some sort of job in helping to spread the name among the people I know. The program is still here for the next 12 hours or so http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0106tsf question is at 1hr 7mins for anyone who wants to/is able to check it out.
