Introducing Kaleigh Graff, our Fan of the Week!

When did you first hear about the band?
“I first heard about the band from my husband, about 2 years ago he told me... ‘listen to this band named Sick Puppies, I think you would like them’ and I really didn't listen to music back then, but I was like ‘ok, ok, I’ll give them a listen.’ and ever since then I have been the biggest music buff, the biggest lover of music, and the number one Sick Puppies fan!!”

What is your favorite song?
“My favorite song is ‘Should've Known Better’.”

Are you a member of the SPWC forum? If so, why did you decide to join?
“Yes I am a member of the SPWC forum, I decided to join because I loved talking to and reading posts from people about the band. It's nice to stay up to date on stuff and I love hearing from you guys.”

What is your favorite Sick Puppies story/memory?
“My best and most favorite Sick Puppies story and one of the best memories I have is the first time I saw them in concert. It was in St. Louis, MO at a little nightclub called The Pagent, my little sister went with me, we stood out in line in 15 degree weather freezing our butts off for almost 2 hours, waiting to get in because I wanted the best spot possible. We got in and I sat through 3 other bands waiting and waiting for sick puppies. Then the lights went off and I could see their shadows walking out on stage and I got the most awesome feeling like I was flying, because I was about to see my idols.... and then, finally the lights came on and BAM! there they were…Sick Puppies! Right in front of me! It was the best concert experience ever for me!!!”

Where are you from?
“I’m from Scott City, MO”

Why do you love them?
“I LOVE them because they were the first real band that I got into, because of their lyrics. They are the reason I have such a HUGE love of music in my life. Their lyrics are really, really powerful and if you sit and actually listen to every word, all I can say is, amazing!”

Fun Fact:
“I have 2 children, they are ages 4 and 6. My daughter, the 6 year old, knows EVERY WORD AND EVERY SONG by Sick Puppies! I say, ‘Hey, Olivia, who do we think is the best band in the whole world?!’ and she says ‘Duh mom, it’s sick puppies!’ Even my kids think they rock!!!”
