I don't recall there being a thread specifically like this, so I'll kick it off! Just post what you do because of the pups that you wouldn't have done otherwise!

Because of the Pups, I carry a bottle of water everywhere I go!

Because of the Pups, I have made some of the most amazing friends and had some of the most amazing trips in my life.

Because of the Pups, I have been inspired to learn and master the guitar and/or bass.

Because of the pups I have 25 more songs on my Ipod my dad can't stand.

I decided to learn guitar.

Because of the pups me and my friends have so many more inside jokes.

Because of the pups I haven't yet become one of those zombies who only listens to synthesized and tasteless music.

Because of the Pups, I have inspiration to become a rockstar (So I can bug them at 3:00 A.M. when I'm on tour with them (What, I can dream...))

That has been me and my friends newest fantasy.

She's probably going to get a bass for her birthday, I have a guitar, and her friend may get a drum set.
Now we just need a singer inspiration, possibly another guitar player, and a record deal. Oh and a name. And that bass. And drums... Yeah, that rock star fantasy is getting iffy.

Because of the Pups, I...realized that there are truely sincere kind hearted people out there who truely love and care about what they do. I thought there weren't any left.

Because of the Pups, I...have a reason and motivation to get my lazy, unmotivated butt out of bed in the morning. I rock out to War every morning for umph to get me through the at least 10hr day.

Because of the Pups, I...gather the strength to not scream and freak out when someone stresses me out. I simply sing the mantra "hey...it's gonna be ok...hey gonna laugh at this one day."

Because of the Pups, I...embrace the feeling of being an Odd One. All my life I've always had a business, work work work ethic about me. Mostly because parents forced me. Starting with chores and helping out around the house, when my friends were at parties etc. So now I'm a business owner surrounded by people at least 20-30 yrs older than me and my former classmates are getting married and starting families and I'm living the single life. Sick Puppies are the only enjoyment I get out of life. I get to release all the tension and stress I let bottle up inside of me at the concerts I'm able to attend. I get to see the pups being geniune, with all their talent, and I just stand there in awwww being so filled with admiration and respect for all they do. I become all sappy wishing I could be like that: geniune...I work retail so I have to hide my true feelings and bite my tongue at some of these "interesing characters" that just expect everything to be about them and wanting service NOW NOW NOW

Because of the Pups, I...am able to be so much more than what I was. Kinda hard to explain why. I was and have always been a shy naive spoiled girl. When reality and depression set in, I had the Sick Puppies as therapy "to bring me down from the ledge".

Because of the Pups, I...want to be a better person. Not just for me...but for them. Shim's letters are so motivational. He speaks about life being too short and having to realize what's important. Some of us realize this stuff when its too late.

Because of the Pups, I...could go on and on but I won't..lol

Because of the Pups, I live life fully. I always do the best I can before I heard about them but now I know why I do. Wrxracer24 pretty much took the words right out of my mouth.

Because of the Pups, I have Your Going Down acoustic as my alarm clock on my phone. : )

Because of the Pups, I can deal with peoples' bullsh*t easier (mostly from my mom). Just put on their music and escape into my own world.
