question about opening acts

Okay so I convinced my mom to get tickets for Sick Puppies. They have four opening acts on the Harddrive Live tour, and I was wondering... Are Sick Puppies the main act and how long will the openers be?

Yes, SP is headlining.

Most of the time, if the doors for a show are say, at 7:00, you can expect your headliners on between 9-10 (sometimes as late at 11), depending on if there are curfew regulations, etc. Generally, openers range between 15-45 minutes each, with teardown time between.

It really does depend on the structure of the tour and how long their set is planned for. And this goes for ANY tour, not just this upcoming SP one. But in general, a headliner will do 45-60 minutes, again, depending on how things are structured.

And yeah, we're all hitting shows because of SP, but don't count out Red Sun Rising. I caught them with Pop Evil last year and they were off the wall amazing.
