Any Chance...

Is there any chance that SP is going to be on the date with "The band that shall not be named" and Finger Eleven in Rochester, MN?

I know they are doing a lot of shows with those two bands, and there is no date on the website with them.

Here's the details:
August 14th, 2008.

"The band that shall not be named" W/Finger Eleven
7:00 PM
Mayo Civic Center, Rochester, MN.

Their site and Myspace don't say anything about being in Rochester... I wish! But I don't think so...

They're in Chasaning, MI that day. Which sucks.

Chasaning, MI was actually today... July 14th. August 14th is not listed on the SP site or Myspace, so I'm assuming they're taking a few days to recooperate. Understandably, but still...

Well, their last show before that is in Alaska.

The next is in Idaho.

I'm holding out hope, and I'm gonna go to that concert regardless, but it'd be nice to see SP again.

Sorry Phenom, on their way back from Alaska, I'm going to Hijack their plane and land them here in BC for a day. Y'see it's been schedueled in for months like this, and there's nothing anyone can do about it, it's already set in stone. So they won't be able to make it to Rochester in time for you to enjoy them, sorry again for the inconvenience.

Well they might be opening for "The band that shall not be named" again, and if they actually do this I am definetly going to this show as well... Wow.. I will be going to way too many concerts in a 2 month span, lol

Yeah, I was at the taste with my friend John, we were at the front right of the stage on the other side of the barricade that separated the Merch Booth from the pit area.

We were basically right up front, I could seriously see sweat dripping from Shim's face, lol, We were really close and we were in the center, did you stay to meet the band?

I didn't go and say anything but I was basically standing next to Shim the whole time while people were going up for hugs and pictures/autographs.

It was too hot with all the people there, so I stood there and watched them sign some stuff, then my friend and I went and got some drinks and we never saw the front of the stage again, we stood by the merch tent, hoping the sun would hit it right so it'd shoot some shade on us, but it didn't, so we left after Finger Eleven sang about 3 or 4 songs, got to see One Thing live, which was cool, but then we just took off, it was much too hot, and there were too many people.
