I'd love to hear their take on a Beatles song. Shim has beautiful vocals so it could work.

I can so hear/see them doing "Across the Universe"

And I'm still surprised they haven't covered Silverchair!

.....I vote for "Israel's Son"

definitely grab something that is pop-ish and convert it to rock. Smooth Criminal anyone by Alien Ant Farm? if they could do Beat It or even Billy Jean i would be impressed.

I'd love to see them cover "99 Red Balloons." With Emma's mad skills on bass, I'm pretty sure she could play both the synth and bass riffs at the same time. It's a great song and I can totally see them covering it.

Es ist schwer nicht. Deutsch oder Englisch. I'd prefer the English version, but I'd settle for Neun und neunzig Luftballoons. I don't think they'd actually need to know the language to cover it.

What about Emma & Shim singing Broken Amy Lee & "The band that shall not be named"???? We all really love how White Balloons turned out, this would get her singing more...

I think it'd be awesome for them to cover or Further Away; Shim has the vocal range and the band has the attitude to turn it into a more rock-y song. And for some reason the first couple of songs on Tri-polar was pretty similar to how this band (FAKE?, that is) sounded for their first albums.

On the tv show Two and a 1/2 men Episode 104 from Season 5 entitled "Is There a Mrs. Waffles?" Charlie Sheen's character sings some really funny jingle songs that he made up. He has kids songs like "grandma might smell funny, but kiss her anyway" and everyone's favorite "bye bye boobies". If you haven't seen this show or this Episode I highly recommend it. I can just see Shim like waving his arms in the air singing "bye bye boobies"....too fricken funny :lmao: I think their next album should be one for children with at least 1 song about fractions...
