Odd One - Charts and Radio Airplay

and with all the "twilight" tracks coming out, it may just crack the top 9 at 9 one of these fridays. which would be the third single off Tri-Polar to do that on 99.9!!!

X103 in Indianapolis is just now coming around and starting to play "Odd One" thanks in part to my ridiculously large number of requests. See, who says that pestering your friends and loved ones to make requests doesn't pay off!

The rock station around me hasn't been playing it as often as I'd like them to. I've only heard it on the radio once so far.

Hopefully I can get more people to call in and request it.

Trying to get some of these close-minded radio stations around me to play ANYTHING worthwhile is almost a losing battle, but I must press on to support my Puppies. I recently sent an e-mail to the local Top 40 commercialized piece of crap station in my area and suggested they play some Sick Puppies and their response was and I quote..."We just don't see the benefit of playing that kind of thing at this point in time, we feel it would be more of a liability and wouldn't serve our intended audience" I even pointed out the current chart position of "You're Going Down" and the many accolades it has received in rock radio. Where I live I can only get about 4 non-country music radio stations and thankfully at least ONE of them plays good modern rock like Sick Puppies!

EDIT: Looks like Odd One has made its debut on Active Rock Radio charts.

It's at number and climbing fast! It was 58 last week.

Here in St. Louis they play Odd One all the time now. It started about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Now I hear it more than I hear Going Down.

I just heard it last week, but I don't listen to the radio all that much. I was in the car and thought I must have pressed the CD, then realized it was the radio, because I knew Dressed Up As Life was in the deck. Very cool to hear another Pups song on the radio!

Been constantly requesting it from my station, hardly ever hear it though. I'd turn in the requests for points to but they don't do online requests lol. I'm ready to see the video.

I'm happy they finally started playing Odd One on 979X. I've been testing in requests and it's nice that they are finally playing it. They must have finally got the song from producers (is that who sends the singles to stations?).

Lol I requested "Odd One" to a radio station out west and they have a field that asks where you are from and I put my little rinky dink town of Goodland, Indiana and they e-mailed me back with something like "and how do you know of our radio station?" So naturally I was just like "shut up and play my song" hehe....I'll continue my requesting regardless!
