30STM Guinness Record and Pups concert count

This would be awesome. Anyone see any update on this after they posted they would check into it?

I may be a fan of 30stm but I know that's not even near the record. I believe the year Hybrid Theory came out Linkin Park did over 320 shows (in just a year, they actually toured 2 years for that album). I'm pretty sure SP also has 30stm beat as well

I hope they're looking into it, it's only a few more days till 30 Seconds to Mars is scheduled for their 300th 'recordbreaking' concert. I'll try digging on their facebook page to see if they're still working on this record.
After voting my hind off in that fuse poll and barely losing, my spiteful side wants SP to get the win here :]
Plus it would be just amazing. Another awesome thing to chalk up for SP.

edit: I looked through their facebook posts from the first post about 30stm on October 8th up until now, I didn't see any updates on it. Has anyone heard anything?

Seems like, after that first initial mention, it all just died on the vine. I haven't heard or read anything more.

Soo I was at the 30STM show last night and they were given an award by someone from Guinness Book so it is official. I took pics of it so when I get a chance to dl them I will post here.

I thought Guinness said they were going to check out SP's concert count? We never heard anything from them saying that they checked it and there was a problem so 30STM will still get the record.
I don't want to sound like a sore loser or anything but it seems something's not quite right here.

I honestly don't even think it's a real thing. It was never in there before so they just decided to make something up for themselves. There are many bands who have done this over the years.
