My theory is as such....70 year-olds of today swing dance at weddings, so at 70 we'll be moshing and head banging in walkers to Rage.

I said it once and I'll say it again. Cover the single greatest gift from Austrailia ( other then AC/DC, Paul Hogan, hot women, and unfunny jokes about reverse toiltes and kangaroos).

Men.At. Freaking. Work. :laugh: I'm not saying it HAS to be "Down Under". But it would make my day immesnly. Or for a more musical taste, "Overkill". One thing I'll say about the Sick Puppies. They take the road less travled when it comes to covers. Think you know what your gonna hear. "Oh it's my favorite song with slighty diffrent sounding insurments and vocals", then "BAM!" the freight train that is creatvity knocks you off your ass. Their cover of "Cherub Rock" continues to blow my mind in how it bares only a passing resemblance to the orginal but pays a homage at the same time. Whatever they decide to cover, it'll be something that'll surrpise us.

Simple Man is one of my all time favorite songs....Yes Shindown did a great job...and of course SP would too. However, I love the original Skynyrd and tend to pull it up right after hearing a cover.

I'm on board with a Glycerin cover.

I think a striped down (pun intended :laugh: ) rock version would be cool with Emma's slap bass.

Well, now that I know Shim likes the band "Incubus" (pssst, it's my third favorite band of all time) definitely something by them. I can see them doing an older song, before Make Yourself, like "Certain Shade of Green" or "Take Me to Your Leader" or something. But anything by them would be epic.
