Converting people to Sick Puppies fans.

Isn't it fun? I'm taking credit for my friends Dannie and Clare, who discovered them through me bring them to their concert. As well as a couple other people I know only that I've caught listening to them who before I was raving about them "had never heard of them". In fact I just got a PM about SP on another board from someone who I thought had no interest. Go me. 8-)

it is really cool - I converted my friend that I took to the SP Philly show - she listened to my CD and went to the concert...now she's hooked and can't wait for them to come back..she plans on coming to the boards at some point, she is a college student and has almost no time for anything but school so it may be a little while for that. But she is definitely a fan!

Well I apparently have boring a** friends cause most of them go sick what???? Not a lot of folks my age around here that like something other than rap or country...

Best way I've found is to lock them in your car. Put the CD on and say my car, I'm driving, so you gotta listen to this. Time to be educated ;P

I don't really get the chance to convert people. This is really strange... everytime I find a new band that I really like, the next day at school all my buds want to share the same thing.

The one surefire way to convert someone is to bring them to the concert. And make sure they're at the rail, because that's the best. 8-)

Yea, my one friend had heard of them and so i forced them to listen. Then I brought them to a concert with me and we were on the rail. He had a great time.

I took my 2 friends that already had liked sick puppies so it was all great. But i originally got them into the band so that worked out lol.

My friend was in the hospital for three weeks, so I gave her my Sick Puppies CD to listen to. She says she liked it, so there is hope that she has been converted!

ya know, I was turned a Puppies fan after the first times I saw them and my sis likes them, but everyone else I know says nasty things about me for liking them :'(

And I haven't gotten the most receptive responses from strangers either. Some people just don't know good music I guess. I just dont like people hatin! (Big Sigh)

I have converted two of my friends. One i took to a show, on the rail. She loves them too now. she couldn't stop talking about them for two weeks. The other one i let borrow my cd. two more people to talk about SP with. yay!
