hello this is a story about the most emotional day of my life (may be exaggerated)....(alot). 2 days ago i went into town and looked in zavvi and hmv for the albulm....i failed. I asked the staff in zavvi to check if its in stock, so they went on the computer to check and it wasnt even listed. This is the beginning of my intense emotions... Frustration. i went home and looked online at the HMV store website.(co.uk) and it was listed!!!! then i felt immense happiness and hope. Yesterday i went into HMV, and asked to check the stock. it was listed!!!!!!!! pure joy filled my soul and asked if they had it in stock.. they said no but i could order it, if i paid upfront £12 (about $20) i had the money on me!! i was with my friend jamie, i felt Smug , they said it would take roughly 3 days. i didnt mind, i was too happy and excited. Then the rollercoaster reached its tip and plummetted downwards... she looked agian and realised that she would need to order it from America. My smile faded slightly, i asked how long it would take....8 weeks. i decided not to order it because i was in a huff (also i can buy it from here for $20 signed albulm, i think) i left the shop, i went into an immense rage and my eyes burned red, i let jamie feel my wrath as i ranted on about how f**%!"d up that was, then i lost my anger, my face went pale and i withdrew myself into the comforts of my own mind, too depressed too cry. i went home and rocked back and forth in the corner of my room with the lights off. wich made me feel insane, i had images of shim in the straightjacket in his music video for every day, wich reminded me of the torture going on inside my head. Since then i have calmed down. I am still annoyed, but i know i will get the albulm eventually. Now i feel a new emotion...sympathy, the people in the music stores have never heard their music and niether has alot of people here in Scotland. This is not right!!! they have most likely done nothing wrong in their lives!! they deserve to hear thier music!! the whole world deserves to hear thier music!! I felt like sharing this story to hopefully inspire evryone one here, Sick Puppies World Domination needs to happen!! think of all the poor souls in the world who have never had the oppertunity to listen to this heavenly music. When i listen to any of their songs, my ears have orgasms! and think of all the people like me who suffer without the music after hearing it for the first time. Its like taking heroin from an addict!! I luckily have mostly all their songs saved on my computer and on my mobile but there are those less fortunate. thats why iv found a new respect for everyone on this forum and i admire what everyone is trying to do here. SPWC, i love you all!!! (just not as much as sick puppies )

I feel your pain. No one here in Denmark knows anything about SP either. I requested some of their songs on the radio, and was told that they would play my request, but they had no idea who SP were and they didn't have the album. I had to march down there and give them my copy of the album, and they finally played it. But there's no sign of the album anywhere in shops or on radio/TV (other than my requests being played).

As for the album, it's easy (and cheap!) to buy from the SP Merch site, or even on Amazon.co.uk, although that takes a little longer to ship. Hopefully the Pups will find their way to Europe when they new album is out, and then I'll work my fairly seizable behind off to get them in shops and in the media; that is, after all, what SPWC is here for!

update!! i just asked my mum to order the signed album from the online store and i would pay her the money. Then she had to confess that she had already ordered it from HMV last week for my birthday lol shes so lucky i didnt buy it when i was down there. im happy now i wouldve liked the signed version but perhaps i can now use that as a reason to go meet them one day

I was getting ready to tell you I would buy the album and mail it to you but then I read that your mum has already taken care of it

Hey - So glad to hear you are getting the CD! Yes, It sure would have been great to get the signed one, but now you have a goal!

Are you familiar with the Cinematics? It's a band I dig from Scotland. Caught them here in the US a year and a half ago and really enjoyed them.

It's a bummer that no one there has heard of SP. Now you have a mission. Get people there to listen to SP!

im afraid i havnt heard of the cinematics but im going to look them up and i have got my best friend jamie into sick puppies also he has most of the songs on his mobile too, unfortunatley he lacks the brain capacity to become a big fan of them lol and i tend to rant to people about them all the time, so most my friends know im mad about them, but dont actually know who they are. Also I managed to get there "all the same" video played on youtube on the projecter in my religious education class after ranting to my teacher about them, so i am starting small i suppose one day Scotland will be in my debt and worship me for revealing the worlds greatest band to them and i will recieve daily offerings of sick puppies merchandise to appease my wrath i tend to think big sometimes and thank you for the thank yous. and also i appreciate the thought of going to ship one out for me, thank you. i feel special

Just so you know Paul... You are not alone as a Sick Puppies fan in Scotland! I'm in Edinburgh and I have a good friend in Glasgow who is also a fan!!!

I've done your stunt of asking in all the CD stores for the album and met totally blank faces, these people they totally don't know what they are missing!!!!

woo! lets go give your friend a glasgow kiss and we can eat haggis and then lift our kilts to passing people!! haha i love the scottish stereotype. im so happy that if i was to ever become an ambassador i could slack off and let you do all the advertising just joking lol i suppose i will allow you and a few others to share in my glory of Scottish domination im well chuffed

im so happy lol iv been kissin the case and everything, i honestly think im gonna cry with joy lol and if the hole in the centre of the disc was only a little bit bigger, i would....erm... never mind

Nice one!!! Now there is one more Dressed up as Life CD to add to the count in Scotland, with my two copies that makes it 3!!! Do you know of any more?
