I was looking on the pups merch site and see the beanie....I was wondering if anyone knows where the double eagle logo came from and what it symbolizes? I don't remember Sick Puppies having it.
I did a little research and here is what I found
Double-headed EAGLE: A Masonic seal and initiation symbol. The number inside the pyramid over the eagle's head is 33. The eagle is a universal symbol representing the sun, power, authority, victory, the sky gods and the royal head of a nation.

I don't know where it came from, but I believe there is/was also a T shirt with the same logo.

I'm not sure where it came from. They might have chosen it because it rocks. I love how one eagle is holding Emmas Wawrick and the other is holding Shims Gibson. Thats awesome.

I think they chose it for the World Domination.
This image was used by the Byzantine Empire.
The Eagle looked West and East over the entire empire.

Yeah they look pretty sweet and darnit I forgot to buy them last night.
I'll have to make another purchase from the merch site! I think there is too many choices at the concerts, and with the rush of the line, and the nervousness of seeing the pups there literally feet away is overwhelming. They have the wall/board display and the table has merchandise spread throughout it. They are constantly wanting to keep the line moving. I hate being rushed but understand. I'm like a kid in a candy store Ohhh i want this and ohhh I want that, but when it comes to saying what I want I always panic and forget. darn darn darn.
