Why does shim stick his tongue out while singing?

i always just assumed he did it just cause hes shim and hes cool like that

but on youtube someone posted on a video comment that he does it to change the sound?

any thoughts?

I've been wondering the same thing for months.

I guess it's his way of opening his mouth/throat wider so the sound comes out better. He tends to do it when he gets louder. :noclue:

Im not sure but that was probably my comment you read unless someone else has said the same thing. I know i left a comment about it on one of the videos, cant remember which one anymore lol.

Im not possitive if he does it to change the sound or not that is just my opinion, but if you try it, it does change the sound of the sound of the lyric coming out of your mouth. its like closing your mouth most of the way and letting lyrics come out from behind your teeth. I think its just a technique that he has discovered that helps him out, but like i said this is just what i think. I could be dead wrong and he is just being silly :biggrin:
