SP Quote of the Week on MySpace

Hey everyone!! The MySpace team has implemented an idea to post a new and different quote from one band member every week on our profile page - you can find it located right under our "About Me" section:
Do you have any favorite quotes from the band that you'd like to see posted on our profile? If so, post 'em here (listing the source if you'd like us to use it, please) along with which band member you're quoting and be sure to keep an eye on our page to see when it comes up!

Shim: "Which band do you want to be compared to?" Mark: "Huey Lewis and the News" Shim: starts singing "Power of Love" ~ From the Sick Puppies Facebook livestream chat/acoustic set - February 9, 2010
"I remember being in class waiting to get back home to play it, kind of like an addiction. I didn’t have a lot of time to do it. We lived in these small apartments and mostly I couldn’t turn the amp on, so if there was a window of opportunity to play with the amp on, I kind of savored it. I wanted to do it all the time." - Emma, Warwick interview
"We literally have the best fans, a lot of bands say we have the best fans, but we really do have the best fans. We have an entire website and community that is competing with myspace." Shim, interview with 105.7 The Point during Poinfest in St. Louis Aug 14th

You should put up part of the emails we get, so people just looking around would see the funny/interesting/entertaining things you can get when you sign up for the email list.

Yes, a big THANK YOU in advance to everyone who contributes! Remember the quote can be funny, meaningful, inspiring, or just plain random. Whatever mood you're in. If you find a quote you like go ahead and post it.

I always read stuff that is really funny or that I like a lot, and now when I go to post them I can't remember.
I'll have to go quote hunting.

Interview by Hollywood Music Magazine 3/25/10
HMM: My favorite song on the album is “Odd One”. How did that song come about?
Emma Anzai: Oh nice, that’s my favorite too. We were doing the pre-production kind of thing and going through all of the ideas that we had and I had this part that was in an odd time signature. I brought it up one day and the verse just came out of it. We would always come back to the song and we would refer to it as the “Odd One” because of the odd time signature. Then it sort of happened where the subject matter of the song became about being an outcast and being an “odd one” so it was kind of apt. It’s one of my favorite songs because when I hear it I feel like I’m back at school again being an outcast. I’m sure a lot of kids feel that way at school and maybe even later in adult life. I’m sure a lot of people listen to it and are like “It’s about me.” That’s definitely what we wanted to achieve and that’s why it’s my favorite song on the album anyway.

Katy,
Would you consider quoting them from the "Ask the band" thread? If you did, you could post the question and the answer and let the reading audience know that they can find more questions and answers on the SPWC website...tempting...teasing...luring!
