A couple of questions about War (the song)

Okay so you got this version of War that has the intro you hear at concerts:



Then there is this version which is on my Tri Polar CD:




From what I can find, War was called Street Fighter since it was used on the Street Fighter Game itself. So first off, is there any version of Tri Polar that has the version with the intro. Does the new Tri Polar CD (with the photo instead of the rings) have it? If not, where can you get that version on a CD? I don't want it from itunes. Is there a CD single that it was on, or some promo CD?

I have been searching for different Sick Puppies CD's for a couple of years (I have 16 different ones to date.) I have never seen a CD single of War (Not to say one dosent exist), but I'm curious if there was a soundtrack for the WWE Vs Raw video game it was used on. Maybe is has the different version.....I've never played the game.

I did some googleing and didn't find anything usefull.

Crap, I'm a moron.....War wasn't on WWE vs. Raw, that was YGD......War was on Street Fighter.....as you just said......I'm ashamed of myself.

Yea, War wasn't an official single, so no single cd would have been released...

I have the long intro version from iTunes....at least I think that's where I got it from.

Yea, i think itunes is only place you can buy the long intro version.. speaking of the long version, does anyone else think the intro sounds alot like RATM's "Street Fighting Man"??

It's the same intro and I'm almost positive that's the reason why they didn't use it on the album.

I bought the longer version of War on iTunes the other day, but it wasn't the extended version. Anyone know where I can get the extended version, preferably legally?

A little late I know, but I seem to think from looking at the setlist in London that it is (as Jami said) the same intro, and it was listed as a separate intro on the list. So they don't really consider it part of the song, if that makes sense?
