Objects that you name members of the band

Wanted to start this thread for us obsessive types . I like to name objects after members of bands I like. I had some beta fish that I named Emma & Shim. Now with St. Patty's Day coming up I have a bear in our flower shop window all decked out for the holiday...His Name???? SHIMMY BEAR

I DO THE SAME THING! I haven't done anything major yet with Sick Puppies...they're too special for me to just name something. My current pen name is Jane Graymoore though, haha!

It sounds awesome what you're doing though. I think the best I can do is just name the characters in my book after them (someone with the name Emma or Mark or last name Moore). Then if I do happen to get all ultra-famous and that, it'll be cool.

I might name a cat "Selkie" though. Just for laughs.


BTW...Shimmy bear is friggin' ADORABLE!

Haha thanks guys...I was thinking of putting my tri-polar cd in his hands in the window but it gets mega hot and would be afraid of it melting. Mom and I have been blaring Polar Opposites from our delivery vehicle. I got her hooked on it

I certainly love Shimmy bear....We call it our mascot bear. We dress him up for different holidays. When I found the hat and st. patty's day garland I said "hey didn't Shim wear a hat like that at a concert?" Maybe someone threw it up on the stage? Hence Shimmy bear was born
