Not as thrilled as I was hoping it would be.
SP played.. (let's see if I can remember)
Rip Tide
Say My Name
All The Same
f*ck You by CeeLo Green
Nothing Really Matters
Odd One
Maybe
You're Going Down
(probably not exactly in that order)
People cheered and stuff, but from where I was standing (which was kind of in front of Emma, like right by the speaker) people weren't cheering that loud.
But when they played Maybe, Say My Name, and f*ck You..people got into it. So that's good!
I just think they didn't know the other ones, you know? Which is unfortunate.
There was a group of girls standing in front of us..and my friend and I were just screaming and going nuts for them (of course)..and the girls kept turning around and giving us dirty looks. It was really annoying because you could tell they weren't even there to see SP and it was like..get out of our way! lol. But then Say My Name came on and they all started singing. And when Maybe came on they were like "I LOVE THIS SONG!". So..
The crowd liked it when Emma did her thing though. That was cool. And when Shim said "How do you feel?" everyone answered with "f*ck Yeah!" pretty loud. I guess I just wasn't happy with the lack of enthusiasm throughout the other songs. But I'd say under the circumstances (being the mix of bands), it was pretty good. A lot of people went to get their stuff signed by them. Like we left the room right after they got done and bolted for the merch stand and we had to wait in line. So that's good too!
