Question about all ages concerts

The only concert I was at was a 21 and over show and it was great. My question is, when I go to Great America with the family in July for the concert, should I be worried about bringing earplugs for my 10 year old or do they tone it down to PG-13?

They generally do not tone it down as far as language is concerned, unless it's an acoustic concert. Although I have not been to a show at a more family friendly venue, so cannot say for sure.

I've been to over 50 SP shows and, like Becky said, they don't tone it down as far as language goes unless it's acoustic. I've been to many shows that were a family-type atmosphere with lots of kids.
Also I wear earplugs at every show and they really only get rid of static so you can hear clearer while making it only slightly less loud (in my opinion).

You could just do what I did when I brought my daughter to an SP show... "Hear that? That's what NOT to say".

Thanks for all the advice. I'm sure she has heard every word out there. She probably won't be paying much attention anyway.
