Trying to find out whatever I can on Shim, Mark, and Emma's gear. If anyone knows where to find and Information like Guitar models, amps, effects, Drums and symbols post it here!
I'm currently in the market for a guitar, and want to find out how shim gets his semi hollow body guitar to sound as freaking awesome as he does. Those are ment for jazz and blues and mellow stuff yet I love how kick ass his sound is live.

I finally found a bass exactly like Emma's' online. Unfortunately the asking price was around $6,000 (I was completely shocked, I knew it was a lot but not that much) and I'm just an unemployed highschooler (Trust me I would get a job if I LEGALLY could.) I want to sound as amazing as her when I play "You're Going Down" and "Howards tale" but I guess I'm stuck with Lotus basses right now...

Expensive guitars aren't always necessary man, especially the ones that are that much. Lots of times its all the extra bling that makes the price so high. There are plenty of midgrade guitars out that rock. You just have to do your research. I've played $3,000 dollar guitars and didnt like them as much as a $500 ibanez my one friend has.

Emma plays a Custom Warwick Streamer Stage 1, and uses D'Addario strings. I don't know what kind of D'Addario strings though.

I think Shim routes his guitar through a Marshall amp, but I'm not entirely sure. For a fact, he uses a Gibson ES hollowbody... I think 335 model. But remember, find your own personal favorite tone and look. Hell, Shim picked it out originally because he thought it would look good on him and not even for the tonal qualities it had!
