Introducing Sara Sonnie, our fan of the week!

When did you first hear about the band? The first time I heard Sick Puppies was in 2009, on the radio 92.3 K rock, the song was You're Going Down. It was great! I was 18 years old, and it was the day after my high school graduation. I had a broken nose, and two large black eyes. When my best friend and I were sitting in my old falling apart truck, This women had looked grossed out by my face. So we just turned the music up loud, and the women flipped us off, but we just laughed and danced like idiots in our seats.

If so, why/when did you join the world crew? I don't remember when. I wanted back stage passes to a concert, but I don't go on as much as I would like to since I work a lot.

What is your favorite song? Pitiful

Where are you from? The greater Cleveland area in a town called Mentor, Ohio

Why do you love them? I feel like I can really connect with the music. I have never been popular, and I was shy. I’ve spent my whole life drawing and painting, I’m not the best, but it’s my passion. I have not had an easy life, but when I listen to sick puppies music I feel like everything will work out.

Fun fact: I got my grandma to like the unplugged Sick Puppies songs, even though she usually only likes classical music.
